A native of Miami Florida, Ken earned a Juris Doctorate, with honors from the University of Florida College of Law in 1989. In 1992, Ken relocated to Atlanta to become the senior associate in charge of the real estate department of a Tucker, Georgia law firm that specialized in the representation of credit unions and other local financial institutions. In 1995, Kenneth D. Rutan, P.C., was formed to represent small businesses, financial institutions, and mortgage brokers in connection with both commercial and residential transactions. In 2000, Mr. Rutan earned his Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Alabama School of Law enabled the firm to provide sophisticated tax, estate and business planning to firm clients. Christopher Boedeker, serves the firm as counsel through Christopher Boedeker LLC. Christopher is a graduate of the Brooklyn Law School and the University of Georgia. His practice covers real estate transactions and litigation, with a specialty in property tax controversies. The firm currently handles numerous sophisticated commercial real estate transactions throughout the United States involving multi-collateral and multi-jurisdictional credit facilities in addition to its extensive residential real estate practice.
