Keeton Custom Leather

I am a full-time leathersmith located in Knoxville, Tennessee. I specialize in handcrafted heirloom-quality leather goods using premium leather and materials. I have always enjoyed the look, feel, smell, and craftsmanship of quality leather items. In high school, my girlfriend bought me a beginner's leathercraft kit and that started me on the path... to where I am today. In fact, I still use some of the tools from that kit I received in the early 1990s. Over time my work improved and in 1997 I started selling items online as a way to make some extra spending money. Since that time, I have made hundreds of items for people all over world. After several years as a professor in higher-education, I decided it was time for a change. I just wasnt happy working for other people and knew I wasnt living my passion. In 2019 I decided to make leathercraft my full-time vocation. My goal has always been to provide customers with heirloom-quality leather goods using premium materials and traditional hand craftsmanship. I currently work out of my home workshop with the assistance of my Australian Shepherd named Sunny. I do all of the work myself, except for the occasional item when one of my young boys wants to help dye a piece or punch a hole.
