KDAG.org is committed to enabling students realize their potential by providing service access to many of the same resou... rces used by students in developed countries, support creation, adaptation and distribution of open educational resources; train educators to help cater the material to students and provide supportive tools/materials for innovative teaching techniques to educators and parents. There are now more quality, free, open educational resources online than ever before. However 90% of Oromia region kids could not benefit the most from open educational resources and supporting technology/tools due to the lack of connectivity needed to access them. More and more learning materials are being released under creative commons licenses, which allows them to be shared, used, and remixed freely. These Open Educational Resources (OER) now feature an increasing number of digital curricula. KDAG is committed to provide high quality educational materials to off gird Oromia region kids by leveraging open-source educational platform and toolkit designed for low-resource communities. We have proven system that is built to run on a lightweight local server, but with a growing library of open educational resources and the tools to adapt them to the local curriculum.Read More
