We respect the lakes we operate on and work to ensure they are able to be enjoyed by generations to come. We are especially pleased to share that all of our jet boats run on bio fuel, reducing our carbon footprint by 10%. All of our used oil is recycled and collected by total oil. We also use other sustainable materials wherever possible. We consid... er ourselves very privileged to be allowed visitor access onto Mokoia Island. As part of giving back to the island and improving sustainability, we are responsible for delivering DOC to Mokoia Island. This enables DOC to care for and maintenance of the Bird life as this is a bird sanctuary with many endangered birds. On occasions, our staff assist in the process as the island is pest free & we need to keep it that way. We also assist on Kiwi Surveys. Supporting local communities is another important aspect of sustainability. We give to many charities and support the local community where we can.
