Welcome to Willow Tree Wellness. My name is Dr. Kathleen Voelsing and I am a psychiatric/mental health nurse practitioner. I have been a Registered Nurse since 2005 and received my Masters Degree/Nurse Practitioner in 2007. I received my Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2013. More important than my credentials, is who I am. I am an alcoholic and a dru... g addict. I have been in recovery since 2010. I understand the struggle of addiction and mental illness and the struggle is very real. You may feel consumed by darkness, alone, scared. My addiction was as bad as it gets. If I can recover, you can, too. We will work together to find freedom from the issues you face, those which are holding you back. I will not judge you. I may be blunt, I will push you to work towards your recovery, but I will not judge you. No matter what your past or how far youve fallen, you can recover. Im here to help. My recovery journey translates to tremendous empathy for those struggling with mental health and/or substance abuse issues. I provide both thoughtful, individualized psychiatric medication management for each of my patients to achieve their best. I offer face to face sessions or telepsychiatry. For treatment with buprenorphine, we will need to see each other in the office and cannot use telepsychiatry. Willow Tree Wellness is a small practice and I have no additional staff. Patient questions and concerns are addressed directly by me. I maintain a small volume of patients to provide a very personalized level of care and direct access to your provider.
