Karen Franzen Karen Franzen was an honors graduate of the Ontario College of Art and Design in 1989. She has been a professional ceramic artist since, creating energetic variations of traditional vessels, tile works, and place settings. With clay I allow myself to make playful, functional objects for everyday use which will hopefully bring a smile for all to enjoy. In addition to producing one-of-a-kind and production pieces for galleries, exhibitions, and private commissions she has also given invited lectures and workshops. She has taught classes at the Halliburton School of Art, The Toronto Board of Education as well as in her own studio.Read More
