About K&A Associates
Kevin and Alison O'Brien founded K&A in 2009. Between them the have over 40 years experience in working with young people and adults with learning difficulties. For over 10 years, we managed a successful specialist residential college for young people with autism and challenging behaviour, which we led to grade 1 at inspection. An experienced director of specialist services for children, young people and adults with learning difficulties and disabilities Kevin has skills in designing and implementing service solutions which integrate delivery for people with complex needs through cost effective, personalised support. Kevin has supported his extensive practical experience with professional qualifications including a M.Ed in Special Education and an MBA. In addition he has a detailed knowledge and understanding of the policy and funding context in both SEND and adult social care including supporting the implementation of the Children and Families Act 2014 and Code of Practice.Explore more
