Justin Washington

Justin Washington is a graduate of California State University Northridge. He received a Communications degree in the Fall of 2016 that focused on Media-Management and the business side of the entertainment industry. Justin is well versed in the business and practices of the industry as a whole but specifically understands Entertainment Marketing a... nd Talent Management. Most recently, Justin worked as an Account Executive at FRUKT, in the product placement division. His responsibilities included finding and securing film content from studios in pursuit of product placement opportunities. Justin's first industry job was as an Executive Assistant at Legacy Entertainment, which focused on product placement. Justin learned how products can be marketed to create revenue through placement. Most importantly Justin learned administration skills such as multi-tasking and becoming a self-starter as he scheduled travel plans and wrote itineraries for his employer. Over the summer of 2016, Justin worked for SBV Talent (Sutton, Barth & Vennari) where he was the Animation and Interactive assistant. Justin rolled calls, edited mp3 auditions from voiceover talent, and entered details in Google and Outlook calendars, as well as searched for new talent. Learning how to balance auditions while onboarding new talent, taught Justin to be attentive to details. Justin handled the actors payment processes and personal information, such as I9s, W4s and articles of incorporation. Justin worked full-time through his college years. He went to class online, at nights and even begged his employers for permission to arrive late on days he had class. Justin had to move from job to job as his college schedule would not always flow with his employer's schedule. Thankfully Justin has graduated and is ready to bury his roots and grow.
