John Stavros Neophitou established JSN Motors in 1975. John's uncompromising standards and a determination to offer the best service possible quickly brought the business to the attention of BMW South Africa, then also in the process of establishing itself in South Africa, and the BMW franchise was awarded to JSN Motors in 1977. JSN Motors maintain... ed their original Anderson Street premises in the CBD for some 18 years until a move to Sandgate in Kramerville in 1995, then to Hobart Road in Bryanston 1999 and now to the magnificent purpose-built facility in Ormonde Street, Bryanston in December 2008. Throughout their 36 years, the heart of JSN Motors' business has been its servicing facilities. John Stavros Neophitou was known as a perfectionist and an icon in the motor industry. He always insisted that the service environment was maintained in a spotless condition and that the technicians and their equipment met the highest standards. The dealership has always been sports and racing orientated and supported group N saloon cars for five years with driver, Robbie Smith, winning a number of races throughout the country in various BMW models. The strong racing heritage provided a platform for high - performance tuning of BMW cars and in 1982, JSN Motors became the sole importers for AC Schnitzer offering high performance engine modifications and body styling kits for selected BMW vehicles. John's wife Anita Neophitou has been involved in the business for the past 42 years and is currently a Senior Director of JSN Motors.
