Jova/Daniels/Busby

Henri Jova, Stanley Daniels, and John Busby launched Jova/Daniels/Busby in 1966 as an interdisciplinary design firm. Two early commissions, the mixed use development, Colony Square, and the corporate headquarters for the Robinson-Humphrey Company, a major investment banking firm, established JDB as a capable provider of architectural and interior d... esign services for complex and innovative projects. A third commission, the design of a corporate headquarters for Southern Progress Corporation that embodied the companys distinctive publishing and environmental approach, launched a forty year relationship that showcased JDBs architectural, interior design, and planning skills. From this foundation, Jova/Daniels/Busby established depth and capabilities in several areas: corporate facilities, higher education and civic buildings. Within the Interior Design Studio, we developed a particular focus in law firms and financial firms. Beginning with a few small church and synagogue projects, JDBs focus on religious facilities became a significant part of the practice, encompassing all the varied aspects of the building type, with a particular emphasis on design for urban congregations. Jova/Daniels/Busbys on-going interest in healthcare took a giant leap in the past decade when JDB and Foil Wyatt Associates formed a partnership, FWAJDB, for the design of facilities for Animal and Human Health Science facilities throughout the United States and Canada.Read More
