Her title is Holistic Nurse and the founder and owner of Journeys for Wellness, Inc. She practices at the Chicago Holistic Healing Center, which is located at Weiss Memorial Hospital. In addition to having a wellness private practice, Vivien Joy works as a bedside nurse in the recovery room (a phase where patients recover right after surgery) for Advocate Health Care. Vivien Joy is also an Alumna of the Institute of Zen Leadership whom her teachers are Zen Priests and Zen Masters, and is also a member of a nursing honor society, Sigma Theta Tau International. Since 2010, she had presented on topics on Holistic Approaches to Stress Management, Healing Touch (energy healing), and Non-Pharmacological Approach to Pain Management, to physicians, nurses, nursing students, new graduate nurses, employees, and to the community.
