My Journey Counseling JoLee Scott, MA, LPC Currently not accepting new clients. JoLee Scott is a Masters Level Licensed Professional Counselor with the state of Oregon. She also has an immense amount of life experience that informs her current practice of helping those who have endured domestic and/or narcissistic abuse. This personal knowledge aid... s in her ability to understand clients through a very broad lens, appreciating that every person has their own journey and expert knowledge about their life and themselves. JoLee acknowledges that there is no one right way to do life and feels privileged to join all clients, regardless of race, nationality, economic status, gender, or sexual identification, on their journey and see life through their framework. JoLee also believes that supporting the whole person by encouraging clients toward mindfulness of their mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical needs and desires, is paramount to healing. In addition to her work with domestic and narcissistic abuse, JoLee works with couples. Her strong desire to help couples on their journey of awareness and acceptance is the catalyst for her work. She aims to assist couples in their desire for a better life by understanding the delicate nature of this intimate relationship. JoLee is dedicated to serving people from all walks of life from a non-judgmental and authentic place and to respect their specific life challenges as well as their innate strengths and values. JoLee intentionally creates a safe atmosphere where all can feel secure and free. Through this gateway, her clients can begin the process of gaining a life that works best for them, a life that they deserve, in turn improving the lives of those around them. Using many different types of interventions is key to meeting every individuals needs. Every client deserves their own personal experience. Therefore, Jolee uses Narrative Therapy, CBT, EMDR, Mindfulness, and a variety of other modalities.Read More
