We began small in 2010 and have since worked our way to being the number one online-only news source in Ireland. We employ dozens of journalists across our publications and our news sites TheJournal, The42, and Fora are among the most iconic of Irelands digital brands. In 2018 Boards.ie, Irelands largest online community forum, joined the Journal M... edia family. And in 2019 we launched Noteworthy which funds and publishes in-depth investigative journalism based on suggestions from the public. TheJournal.ie is our flagship publication with a mix of breaking news, in-depth reporting, opinion, and exclusives. The emphasis is on Irish news within the global context. We deliver informative, timely, comprehensive news coverage to the largest online news audience in Ireland. Since 2017, Reuters Institute has named TheJournal.ie as the main online news source in the Irish market. Fora was launched in March 2016 to provide quality journalism for Ireland's entrepreneurs. It is focused on the issues that matter most to Irish innovators. A key part of Fora's mission is to make readers smarter about business with pointed and engaging observations. Our sports publication started out as TheScore in 2010. We quickly attracted an enthusiastic readership and within a couple of years had grown to become one of the top Irish sports news outlets. A rebrand to The42 in 2015 saw the growing team double down on long form features and multimedia analysis. We understand how well informed and passionate todays Irish sports fan is and we continue to invest in covering Irish and international sport comprehensively for our community of readers. We launched Noteworthy in April 2019 to create a new platform for supporting important journalism. The platform works through crowdfunding and reports on stories suggested by people around Ireland.
