Joshua Weitman, Dds

Dr. Joshua Weitman received his undergraduate degree in Psychology at SUNY Binghamton and Cornell University. He received his dental degree at NYU College of Dentistry and graduated in 1984. He also attended the pre-College division of the Julliard School of Music for 3 years during high school. Dr. Weitman has been practicing General Dentistry for... 38 years, 35 of them in the village of Huntington. He has hundreds of hours of continuing education including prosthetics, periodontics, oral surgery, medicine, root canal therapy, TMJ/occlusion, oral microbiology and radiology. Among others he has completed a program in implant surgery at Montefiore/Einstein Hospital in the Bronx and maintains a working relationship with the hospital. He has recently added Adult Orthodontics through the Six Month Smile program. Among Dr. Weitman's many interests are furniture building and woodworking, hiking, kayaking, tennis, American History, Buddhist studies and of course motorcycling. Robin graduated from Ithaca college with a degree in Communications with a Business minor. She has worked in the dental field for 32 years, 16 of them at Dr. Weitman's office. She handles all of the insurance, scheduling, billing, ordering of supplies, correspondence. and administrative duties that keep the office organized and running smoothly. She always has a big smile and warm greeting for her patients. "I feel it is important to make people feel comfortable when they come to the office. It should feel like you are visiting friends." Welcome Denise to our office. Denise is a RDH with 25 years of experience. She graduated from NYU College of Dentistry and received her anesthesia license from Stonybrook University. Denise is a member of several dental organizations and has treated patients of all ages in both the public and private sector. She lives in East Northport with her husband , 4 children and their dog Buddy. She enjoys going to the beach, scuba diving and ballroom dancing.
