Now independently owned, Joshua Tree Senior Living has undergone impressive advancements since the name change in May 2013. The company's Life Enrichment Coordin... ator has added art, music and memory care programs as well as off campus functions on the company's new transport bus. We've expanded the company's therapy gym and added several private rooms but continue to utilize the semi-private rooms for the company's long term residents. The company believes some residents thrive in semi-private rooms, as they develop friendships and enjoy companionship while providing comfort to their families that they are not alone. The company's administrative nurses have been here for 20 years each and a lot of the company's staff, the owner included, have encouraged the company's children to work in the industry and learn the rewards of taking care of the elderly. The company's 60-bed skilled care center continues to emphasize the feelings of home with the dining room and nursing station being central to the living quarters. The company's 39 unit assisted living building is a two story building with one bedroom and efficiency apartments and includes a beautiful newly renovated dining room and a large activity room. The company continue to welcome changes on the company's campus but understand the comforts in remaining the same.
