Joshua De La Ossa

Joshua was born and raised in Arizona. He grew up on his family's cattle ranch in Lochiel, Arizona, which is located on the U.S.-Mexico border just east of Nogales. After finishing high school, he moved to Tucson and attended the University of Arizona where he earned his bachelor's degree in secondary education. After college, Joshua taught high sc... hool social studies for four years in one of Arizona's most highly recognized and awarded school districts. While teaching, he earned his master's degree in educational leadership from Northern Arizona University. In 2008, Joshua decided to pursue his life-long dream of becoming an attorney. He and his family moved to Phoenix so Joshua could attend the Phoenix School of Law. During law school, Joshua was president of the Hispanic Law Students Association and served as the school's representative on the Board of Directors for Los Abogados, Arizona's Hispanic Bar Association. Joshua was also selected to be the school's representative to the Thurgood Marshall American Inn of Courts. Joshua earned a coveted spot on the Phoenix School of Law Moot Court team and participated in national moot court competitions. He also served as a law review staff editor. During his second year in law school, Joshua was selected by school administration to serve as the only student representative on the New Dean Search Committee. The Committee helped select a new Dean for the Phoenix School of Law. After finishing law school Joshua decided to open his own law firm to provide quality legal representation to people facing legal challenges.
