This company, under its' current name, was established in Aug 2008, but its roots go back much further. Carmen Byron first became a licensed REALTOR® in 1989 in Manhattan, KS. Her husband Ron joined her part time in 1991 while still in the military. Ron did not go full time until his Military retirement in 1994 as a Chief Warrant Officer 4 with 20... years of service. By then Carmen and Ron had already established themselves as a force in the Manhattan, KS. Real Estate market. In 1994 they sold 114 homes in a single year in that small town becoming the top agents of record. In 1995 they moved to Overland Park, KS. looking for a new challenge and immediately one was found and overcome. After only three years the new Team Byron with sons Parker and Brad were ranked in the top 1% of all REALTORS® in Kansas City. Averaging over 125 homes sold per year Team Byron opened its doors as a stand alone company in 1997. In 1998 Team Byron was named top 5 resale team out of over 10,000 agents. A big change came in 2004 when the growth of the company made it necessary for a name change to Johnson County, Inc. The company was now servicing the entire county and winning awards annually for innovation in technology and sales. With continued explosive growth more change was soon to come.
