Johnson Connor Agencies is a privately owned and operated Independent Insurance Brokerage. We have been operating in the Stettler area since the end of World War II. After serving in the War Brian Johnson returned to Stettler and joined the firm as Roberts Johnson. The company remained small and provided real estate as well as insurance service in... those days. In the 1960's Ted Connor joined the business and it was known as Johnson Connor Agencies Ltd. with Ted and Brian as the partners. After Brian's passing Ted maintained the name and sole ownership of the company until the 1980's. Ted's son Neil became involved in the company early in that decade and purchased part ownership from his father at that time. Neil gained sole control of the ownership in the early 1990's. The business experienced steady growth over the years and in 1996 established an office in Red Deer. The Red Deer office started as an alliance with Courte Insurance and Financial (Life, Mutual funds and Travel Insurance) and has grown since that time. In 2002, Scott Roberts joined the company as a shareholder, managing the Red Deer branch and a producer/manager in the Stettler branch. In 2010 Neil Connor retired from the Business and Scott has sole control.
