JSI Global Solutions was founded in 2002 by Joe Solberg and is partnered with its sister manufacturing company, Spare Parts Specialist (SPS). JSI brings over 35 years of experience in the paper industry to provide customers with innovative products and solutions. JSI started the Slitter Solution Program and sharpening to help paper mills and conver... ters control the slitting process by extending the slitter blade life while improving cut quality and reducing maintenance costs. In 2004, JSI developed the JSI Holder with Quick Change Cap, enabling operators to change a slitter blade in seconds without the use of tools while providing an efficient and safer blade change process. In 2005, JSI opened a service center in West Monroe, LA for expanded customer support and service for the Southeast. From 2005 to 2013, JSI has opened services centers in Louisiana, Georgia, South Carolina, Wisconsin, and Washington to provide the company's customer with exceptional customer service and support. In 2008, JSI and SPS built a new 35,000 sq.ft. building in Tyrone, GA for manufacturing and sharpening services. With the company's own in-house engineering department and manufacturing facility, the company is able to offer new innovative solutions for customers from concept to production. In 2013 JSI expands mill services to include Mechanical Audits, Maintenance Service Agreements, Winder Safety Risk Audits, and Alignment Services.
