Joseph Lilly JM Lilly was founded by Joseph Lilly in 1991 as OPT, a consulting business initially offering systems development around linear optimization modeling. In those early days, we were supporting managers in the meat packing and wood processing industries and were building modeling systems to deal with the economics of supply and demand and the product mix. Since then we've expanded into all links of the supply chain including network design, inventory management, S&OP and production scheduling, transportation planning, pricing and demand management. We've also grown into other industries including consumer and packaged goods, water resources, auto and heavy industry, retail, wholesale distribution, logistics and transportation. We've developed and deployed systems for planning and analysis and also for operations. Joseph Lilly, a Cal Poly alumnus has a BS in Ag Management, and an MBA from CSU Stanislaus where he has taught courses in Production and Operations Management in the School of Business.
