Initially only one manufacturer was represented, however, that manufacturer was a leading supplier of equipment for wastewater collection and treatment. It was also recognized as an authoritative source of the latest technology in wastewater treatment because... of their R & D work and joint efforts in research with leading Universities. The company's success in representing a manufacturer with superior equipment and technology formed the basis for evaluating and selecting other manufacturers whose equipment was designed for water and wastewater treatment industry. Today the company represents a number of manufacturers, each a leader in their respective field, to address the various needs of both municipal and industrial requirements. As a dual role of manufacturers rep and stocking distributor, Jim House now maintains an inventory at the local level of both products and parts to support and its customers. To provide complete service for the company's customers, Jim House added a service department in the early 1960's and offers such services as installation, start up and checkout, trouble shooting of field problems, and repairs in shop. The company's service personnel have been factory trained and undergo regular education programs to maintain their competence as new products and services come to the market place.
