Jersey Sporting News (JSN) began in 1994 with the vision to offer a free publication supported by advertising that covered local varsity high school sports in Monmouth County. Our emphasis was and always has been positive reporting of our high school student-athletes. Before there was even a "High School Rally" section in the Asbury Park Press, JSN... knew the value of supporting and reporting on local high school sports. For over a decade, JSN has been commended by athletic directors, parents, coaches and local community leaders as a positive publication in the lives of their student-athletes. We have been the leaders in local sports coverage for 19 years and we continue our strong commitment to the community. While JSN is the only free publication that has been approved for direct distribution into our local high schools by the Board of Education, we have recently expanded our coverage of high school teams to include Ocean County. With this recent expansion, now over 60,000 consumers read our newspaper each month. We believe that our success here at JSN is simple. As a family-run business for 20 years, we value our relationships with our advertisers and readers and treat them like family. We look forward to the beginning of each sports season and the opportunity to bring new families into the JSN fold and we continue to bring the very best in sports coverage to our supporters.
