Thanks to her teacher imploring her to consider it, as well as a strong work ethic instilled in her by her parents, she set her sights on becoming a court reporter, and succeeded. After graduating from MacCormac Junior College (where she's now a member of the Board of Trustees), and spending the early part of her career as a freelance court reporter, she founded Jensen Reporting in 1986. She has been at the top of the industry ever since, having earned every degree and certification associated with court reporting, including the distinction of Registered Diplomate Reporter, Certified Realtime Reporter, and Certified LiveNote Reporter. She is also a member of the National Court Reporters Association, Illinois Court Reporters Association, the Society for Technological Advancement of Reporting, the Women's Business Enterprise, and the National Association of Professional and Executive Women. By constantly working to exceed the expectations and needs of her clients, Rhonda forged long-lasting relationships that helped her expand the scope of the business. Over the years, Jensen evolved from a court reporting agency into a one-stop shop for clients from a wide variety of industries.
