JEH Company was organized in 1982 with Jim and Marilyn Helzer being the sole stockholders. Our aim was to buy roofing material directly from the manufacturer and sell it to contractors, builders, and homeowners. Our mission was to provide quality service and sell product at competitive prices. We started with sales being a mere $10,000.00 a month a... t one location in Mansfield, Texas. The company ultimately grew to 32 locations in 9 states with sales in excess of $250 million per year. From 1997 to 2004 the company's assets were sold, followed by a merger with another company and a name change, and then taken public. During this period, Jim Helzer was a major owner and served as the company's President and Chief Operating Officer. The public company was sold in 2004. Having left the market in 2004 with an excellent reception, and recognizing the need once again for a best-in-class roofing company, Jim and Marilyn Helzer re-established the JEH Company in June 2008 with the same goals in mind -- quality service and competitive prices. Many former and new clients and business partners are welcoming us back into the industry. Of significant importance, is that Jim's brother, E.G. Helzer, who has been with JEH Company since its inception, now serves as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the company. His experience and leadership are very valuable as we go forward building for the future. Additionally, we have brought back many of the same members of our team that made us successful for many years. They know our operating strategy, understand our demands and focus on service to our customers.
