Jax Media specializes in producing film and television at a budget that promotes a singular vision and enables the creative freedom to experiment with the medium. The company is helmed by production veteran Tony Hernandez, who is a producer on the Emmy award-winning series "Louie" (FX) as well as the upcoming David Wain feature film "They Came Toge... ther" (Lionsgate), starring Amy Poehler and Paul Rudd. Jax Media was founded in 2011, and has since produced the second season of "The Onion News Network" (IFC), in addition to several pilots for Comedy Central and IFC. Jax is currently in production on the first season of the new sketch comedy series Inside Amy Schumer (Comedy Central) and the pilot Broad City, based on the hit web series and produced by Amy Poehler (also Comedy Central). Jax Media has a highly experienced staff of in-house producers and production managers, which allows the company to assist in all areas of production services for multiple projects at the same time - from budgeting all the way through post production. Additionally, the company has recently partnered with Barry Diller's IAC & Ricky Van Veens Connected Ventures to form an as yet unnamed studio.
