I went to Dr. Gefter for an ingrown toenail. I was nervous and in so much pain. Dr. Gefter was extremely pleasant and calmed me down. She took her time and I never felt rushed. I immediately felt at ease. Afterwards she provided me with clear instructions and followed up daily. She has hands of gold and I would trust her to care for my entire famil... y. Dr. Gefter always believed that a thorough and detailed initial exam leads to the most successful outcomes for both the doctor and the patient. One of the keys to this success is to spend sufficient time with the patient to fully understand all aspects of the issue. From experience this has always left better placed to offer the best solution gathered from her years in the field. There is a connection that is formed between patient and doctor and this bond makes me personally invested in finding the most positive outcome for my patients. Dr. Janna Gefter changed my life! For years, I was very insecure with the appearance of my feet, and at times, I experienced discomfort standing for long periods of time in my shoes. I had what is called a hammertoe on the left and right foot (pinky toe). To feel better about my self, I decided to have surgery and Im so glad I found Dr. Gefter. My surgery was successful and most importantly, I feel confident showing my feet because my pinky toes are straight! Dr. Gefter is very knowledgeable and kind. I was met with professionalism at Plaza Foot Care with staff members such as Michelle, Rosie and Minerva. They are awesome! Dr. Gefter is highly recommended!
