We stand tall and proud to have business leaders, government officials and hard working professionals in different industries as our members and I believe our best days are still ahead. Throughout the past years, we have built bridges to connect alumni staying outside of Malaysia too, which resulted in the setting up of JAGAM Japan Branch. We conti... nue to strengthen our working relationship with Japan Embassy, Japan Foundation, JASSO (Japan Student Services Organization), JACTIM (The Japanese Chamber of Trade & Industry, Malaysia), JETRO (The Japan External Trade Organization), JAPI (Japan Association for Promotion of Internationalization), APUJ (Association of private universities of Japan), etc. Our strength as a distinguished association is built on 3 solid pillars. We have the number in our membership, we have personal experience as alumni and we certainly have the skills as respected professionals to promote businesses, education, tourism, and bilateral cooperation between Japan and Malaysia. In this new term, there would be even more activities than ever before in all 3 branches. I urge all members to come forward, not only to join our activities, but to lend us your professional services, your network and any relevant support to ensure the success of all events. Seize all these opportunities to showcase what you are capable of and be recognized and rewarded for your contributions. From the north, JNB will be hosting the annual Miss Penang Bon Odori from 28th June 2019 onward, culminating in the finale on 20th July 2019. Down south, JSB will be attempting to break the Malaysia Books of Records of having 3000 dancers for their 20th Bon Odori event, on 27th and 28th July 2019. All 3 branches will come together as one to organize the inaugural JAGAM Japan Education Fair from 10th to 12th August 2019 in Penang, Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bharu consecutively.
