Jacoby's Journeys

My name is Jacoby and I'm from the state of Oregon, U.S.A. About 9 years ago, I was going through some difficult times in my life and felt I needed a change. I decided to travel abroad, hoping to experience life from a different perspective. I ended up selling most of my possessions to fund a year-long backpacking and humanitarian trip abroad. It l... ed me on an amazing trip volunteering with YWAM through the Philippines, Australia, Singapore and lastly India. After returning to the States I went back to school to be certified to teach English with a TESOL certification. I knew I wanted to continue traveling abroad, exploring other cultures and experiencing first hand the importance of connecting with people from all walks of life. In 2016, I created my Youtube channel to help share video content I film on these journeys abroad. Through them I've been able to share information about the places I go and how anyone can go there too, while preferably traveling with minimal expense. Now in 2021, I continue these travels, while also documenting these trips to share it with like minded people. I believe that traveling and getting out of your comfort zone is extremely important, and completely life changing. The things that I have seen and experienced in these last 8 years are priceless.
