Highly Engaged Employees

The Jackson County Education Foundation, a 501c3 non-profit organization, was formed in 2013 to allow Jackson County to participate in the School District Education Foundation Matching Grant Program. The Consortium of Florida Education Foundations provides the 67 counties of Florida with funds in the form of challenge grants to assist with programs... that serve low-performing students, technical career education, literacy initiatives, Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM) Education initiatives, increased teacher quality and/or increased graduation rates. These funds are based on student enrollment in grades Pre-K - 12. To access the funds provided through this program the local foundation must match every dollar it accesses. The Jackson County Education Foundation relies on membership, donors, and fundraisers to meet this requirement.Read More
