Most people get excited about games, but Ive got to be excited about practice, because thats my classroom. The Jamaica American Football Association is a non-profit charitable organization, and will be the principal body responsible for all modes of American Football played in Jamaica. It shall consist of affiliated associations represented by each... parish with its headquarters located in Kingston. JAAFA is interested in the well-being of our youth. Not only using football for recreational, and competitive purposes, but as a vehicle to promote discipline, sportsmanship, instilling life skills, and building a well-rounded healthy life style through nutrition, developmental workshops and physical fitness. Through mutual interaction with educational institutions and corporate businesses, players under JAAFA will benefit from the skills and discipline they have developed to further their education through scholarships, and gaining employment through sports. JAAFA will institute mentorship and outreach programs for all players by seeking reputable and committed individuals who can impact the lives of our young men in a positive way, and help shape their future as we endorse leadership through football.
