J. W. O'Pray & Sons was founded in 1890 and originally specialised in the supply, fitting and rigging equipment for the fishing industry. Over the years the company has evolved with the changing market and has now been supplying lifting equipment and wire rope products for over 70 years. In 1978 the company moved to its purpose built workshop and rigging shop on Wassand Street providing a wide range of lifting services to companies both nationally & internationally. No other company will work harder to find a cost effective solution to your lifting needs providing you with one safe source for your lifting equipment. We are a full member of the Lifting Equipment Engineers' Association & all our work is undertaken by LEEA qualified & experienced staff, working to the Association's Code of Practice and in compliance with all statutory requirements.Explore more
