J & B Services, Inc. was founded in 1986 by Jerry Bates, at the time a twenty year veteran of the trucking industry. Using his personal experiences as a driver, and his experiences managing and selling for other transportation businesses, Jerry formed his company around the idea that you can balance the needs of your clients with the needs of your... drivers and employees to give top of the line service and keep turnover to a minimum. His honesty and integrity to clients and employees still shows through in the company's operation today. J & B is now in the second-generation of ownership by Jerry's son, Todd. Todd began working for his father at the age of 15 and learned the company from bottom to top. He purchased the company from his father in 2002 and continues to operate the business on his father's most basic principles, while adapting the business to the changing market and current standards.
