iTrade is software developed primarily for trades people, or companies with field workers. When he was 12 years old he reconditioned Masport lawnmowers recovered from the dump and then sold them in the Trade & Exchange. He started an electrical apprenticeship at 17 and later moved into project management. Eventually Dom started his own electrical and security business with very high standards and efficiencies, which is still successfully running today. One thing Dom knew was that there had to be a better way of processing jobs, not just in the office, but between the office and his guys in the field. He went in search of software to help bring about these improvements, and trialled a few, however all failed to improve efficiencies or save costs. None of the systems he looked into ticked all the boxes. This was why in 2009 Dom decided it was time for a new focus and iTrade was born.
