Too many federal and commercial projects fail to accomplish their objective, not as a result of bad team members or unskilled labor, but for the reason of inefficient processes managing time, cost, and scope. The overall goal of ITCS is to help reduce the number of failed projects and increase project success by providing a consistent foundation of project management, full lifecycle requirements, quality assurance, and/or customer service that can be built upon, shared, and that helps prepare our students to excel in their craft and careers. ITCS focuses on providing our students with new usable skills and real world understandings. This can only be accomplished by seasoned professionals that have been there dealing with real world situations. ITCS employs real world exercises that not only help the students understand fundamentals but also provide a strong foundation for practical use with templates and examples from actual projects. All ITCS trainers are seasoned project managers with a minimum of 15 years of experience managing projects. This provides another dimension of open discussion where trainers are not only able to answer complex questions, but are able to lead interactive discussions about how these skills have been and can be used to improve the quality of project and process management. New skills are not learned through lecturing.
