In 2001 Isia's quality system was certified ISO 9001 and it's upheld ever since. In 2005, in association with a leading chemical manufacturer, ISIA SpA developed an innovative technology to generate Chlorine Dioxide in a "water submerged reaction chamber" that greatly improved the Safety and the yield of the reaction. This development brought ISIA... to shift toward the water disinfection business opening in 2007 a subsidiary in Dubai ( UAE). From 2008 onward, ISIA's market share on water disinfection (potable and industrial) in the GCC grew steadily, bagging orders from prestigious Customers like Qatar Electricity Water Company and its affiliates, Bahrain Petroleum Company, Saudi Kayan, Alstom etc . In 2012 ISIA's technology was patented world wide. From September 2013 to June2021 ISIA became part of Grundfos Group. In July 2021 ISIA was acquired by De Nora and changed his name in De Nora ISIA s.r.l. De Nora is a global company with two main components. First, De Nora is the largest provider of electrodes and coatings for electrochemical processes serving a wide range of diversified markets.
