Irongate Capital

Irongate Capital (formerly Highgate Capital) is an independent consulting and investment firm specialising in corporate finance and financial services. Founded in 2008 and based in Highgate, London, we offer specialist advice on capital structure, releasing value from illiquid assets, new product development, business optimisation, arranging debt a... nd equity financing, and structuring mergers and acquisitions. We have spent much of the past year in a workout of Hotbed, a private equity and commercial property firm based in the West End, resulting in a sale of the operating business. Clients include small and medium sized businesses, private equity firms, property companies, and academic institutions. Irongate works with partners to add value through a creative approach, often finding success by looking at problems in a slightly different way. We can often supply or source capital should it be required. Irongate adheres to the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct. Irongate is also involved in a number of pro bono activities centred around children. As part of this commitment and to promote financial literacy, we developed Economics for Kids, a program for children completing Key Stage 2.
