About IRISS Forum
IRISS is an all-volunteer organization and initially participation was open to all and free of charge. "Membership" as such grew to 610 individuals during the subsequent 4 years. As with any organization that intends to develop and grow, there are operating expenses and as originally planned, IRISS moved to a paid subscription model in December, 2012. Our paid membership is now over 200 and growing daily. We are exploring formal relationships with Standards Development Organizations and regulatory agencies. Our "books of knowledge", white papers and special project reports provide valuable information to all members. With new programs planned, such as the new monthly webinar series, and new standards on the horizon that will present significant challenges for the IRISS community, the future of IRISS is clearly one of continued growth.
