At IrishGourmet we like to support smaller, artisan producers by sourcing the products we include in our gift baskets and hampers locally. Our general rule is to only send gifts that we would love to receive ourselves. This means we put a lot of thought and attention into the contents of each gift basket and hamper we create. We prefer to include m... ore unusual, specialist products that you wouldn't typically find in a supermarket, so as the recipients of our gifts are both surprised and delighted with the contents. The majority of the delicious food products we choose to include, such as organic smoked salmon, creamy cheeses, rich jams and chutneys, luxurious chocolates and freshly baked goods are frequent great taste award winners. Of course there are also many well known, larger brands out there which we sometimes choose to include, such as Lindt Chocolates in our gift baskets, Lamaze Toys for our baby gift baskets and Scottish Fine Soaps for our pamper hampers. We purchase from companies across England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland and Northern Ireland and have worked with many of the same suppliers since we started out over 10 years ago. Of course we are always on the look out for new, exciting additions to our range and introduce new suppliers and products on a regular basis too. We don't believe in buying cheaper, filler products to bulk out our hampers. Instead we have spent years building relationships with suppliers and growing our business so we can buy high quality products in bulk and then pass the cost saving onto our customers. Many of the recipients of our gift baskets go on to become customers themselves, as they appreciate the quality of goods received.
