Irene's Bakery

10 years ago my life changed as my niece recommended I should start selling cakes after she tried one of my simple recipes. At first, I did not pay much attention as I had a lot going on with my kids. One week later, I suddenly woke up in bed with the thrilling idea of starting my own business. And just like that, out of nowhere, my journey began.... Never in my life had I been so motivated. That same day, I ran to the store, and bought all of the supplies and ingredients I needed. I then designed my own business cards and started running my own bakery from home. Having three beautiful children all running around with different activities really held me back from having my own store. I felt I could not handle opening an actual bakery outside home as my time was very limited. Between Jessicas (my little angel who is disabled) doctor appointments, therapies, hospital visits, and my other two boys, I simply did not have the time to open up my own store Finally, 10 long years later, I decided the timing was right and opened up Irenes bakery in 2011. My two sons are all grown and more independent. Rene recently finished college and the younger one, Danny just started at University of North Texas. My time is here! Its the perfect moment to take my experience and love for baking and decorating to the next level. All of us at the bakery feel blessed to share and cater to all of our customers.
