IRCAD, AITS is a first of its kind minimally invasive surgery (MIS) training institute established in Taiwan in collaboration with the IRCAD, EITS (http://www.ircad.fr/?lng=en) three years ago. Since its establishment; IRCAD, AITS has trained over 2000 surgeons in MIS. It is involved in leading research towards software solutions in medical imaging... and diagnostics, surgical planning and navigation, medical instrumentation, augmented reality in surgery.
