I am a freelance conference producer with 15 years experience. I have a strong track record of significantly increasing the profitability of events, identifying new opportunities for growth, reviving products in decline and entering into new markets with launch events. Following a brief stint in educational publishing with McGraw-Hill, I began my e... vents career as a producer and later team leader for IQPC Australia in 2004. After moving to the UK in 2008, I worked in conference production management positions at The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), Informa UK and Haymarket, where I achieved strong growth in my event portfolios and learnt from the best in the business. My team at the IET and I won the Best New Launch Event prize at the Conference Awards in 2010. I now advise commercial conference companies on their portfolios, support their employee development and produce conferences in a freelance capacity. My clients include IQPC, Informa, EEL Events and Venture Business. I have a B. Media (Video Production) from Macquarie University in Sydney and a Prince 2 Foundation in Project Management.
