Iowa Home Based Services are provided in the home and the community. We provide a wide array of services all geared toward the individual based upon their wants and needs with the goal of leading an independent life. The following is an overview of our services. We are State and CARF accredited to provide Home and Community Based services which inc... lude: Supported Community Living Iowa Home Based Services provide Supported Community Living for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities as well as Persons with Mental Illness. Habilitation Supported Community Living are services for individuals with functional deficits typically associated with chronic mental illness. Habilitation services are designed to promote independence and community integration by offering skills training and other habilitative supports which take place in every day community settings. We provide supports based upon the wants and needs of our consumers from intermittent services to site homes with up to 24 hour support. ID waiver services are provided for individuals with Intellectual disabilities. At Iowa Home Based Services our experienced staff work with Individuals with Intellectual disabilities to obtain the daily living skills they need to successfully live independently in their homes and communities. These skills include things such as medication management, money management, personal care, cleaning, cooking, laundry and many other necessary skills. Based upon need Iowa Home Based Services also provide protective over site and supervision for those individuals who require extra support to live independently.Read More
