InVision provides full service eye and vision care and occupational therapy. Dr. Michelle Cohen, OD and Emily Eads, OT are dedicated to keeping our patients comfortable and well-informed... at all times. At InVision, we will explain every exam and every procedure and answer all of our patient's questions. Dr. Michelle Cohen, OD and Emily Eads, OT are bringing together years of experience in their respective fields to specialize in vision therapy. InVision will target adults and children with strabismus, binocular coordination disorders, accommodation and tracking issues, and traumatic brain injuries. Emily Eads will provide occupational therapy services for children and adults with injuries, developmental, and neuromotor delays. Dr. Cohen will also offer primary care optometry services for children and adults in addition to her developmental optometry services. One of the most exciting new products offered by InVision is the emerging field of myopia control. Current research shows that it is possible to slow or delay the onset of near sightedness. Optometry and occupational therapy bring together a unique set of skills to offer the most effective approach to a comprehensive vision rehabilitation program. It is estimated that 20% of children have a binocular coordination disorder. Often these children have other associated developmental delays to include retained primitive reflexes, gross and fine motor coordination delays, and sensory processing delays to name a few.
