Invigorate is a firm of business and legal consultants. We are not a firm of practicing attorneys. Accordingly, we do not do any work that is reserved for practicing attorneys in terms of current legislation. We aim to add value to our clients business by offering personal and quality service at an affordable price. We understand the financial pres... sure faced by all businesses and the perception, especially among smaller businesses, that legal assistance is prohibitively expensive. Because we do not operate with a large staff and premises we are able to keep overhead costs to a minimum without compromising on the quality of service. So, you may not get offered a cappuccino, but you will get quality advice. We are very flexible regarding our fees and would rather not bill on an hourly basis unless preferred by the client. Our preference is to negotiate a fixed fee upfront and this provides certainty to both the client and us. We also offer retainer packages where clients pay a fixed monthly fee - these are tailored to suits the specific needs of each client. Andrew Tucker obtained his B Com and LLB degrees at the University of Port Elizabeth (now Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University) and was admitted as an attorney in May 1997. He also holds a Certificate in Sports Law from the University of Cape Town. During his eight years in private practice as an attorney Andrew had a general practice focusing on commercial advisory work, commercial litigation and financial recoveries where he acted for a number of national companies. He has lectured a number of law and sports related subjects part time for the past six years at various private colleges and institutions to both degree and diploma students and authored the Business Law Study Guide used by a national correspondence college.
