For more than 100 years, InterServ has been working to alleviate the effects of poverty on people living in Northwest Missouri. Legacy donors those who support the organization through annual donations and who, even as they pass on from this life, honor their commitment to the poor and those who need our help by remembering InterServ through planne... d giving arrangements have kept InterServ vibrant and thriving and doing important work for all of that time. From the beginning, caring and generous people have supported InterServ with annual donations, as well as estate gifts. But times have changed and the world of planned giving has changed with it. Through The InterServ Foundation, those committed individuals, passionate about helping the people of the greater Saint Joseph metro area, can learn about different kinds of planned giftssuch as bequests, gifts of personal residences, and payments through trustsallowing them to create and implement their own unique lifetime giving plans to help further the mission of InterServ. Over the next few months, as the staff and board of The InterServ Foundation work to put together our plan for supporting InterServ into its next century of service, our website will highlight a variety of creative options for leaving YOUR legacy, while also introducing you to our newly-created Legacy Society and to some generous donors who have taken the step of creating planned gifts.
