We believe that human potential is like energy. It is everywhere, and just like energy, it can be hard to see. It is easy to mistake kinetic energy as the manifestation of “energy”. We can see movement; we can see velocity; we can see momentum; we can see “doing”. It is easy to miss potential energy because it is stored; it is waiting; it needs to... be tapped into; converted; released. We cannot see thought. We cannot see an idea. We cannot see willingness. We cannot see commitment. We cannot see drive. We cannot see potential. As a result, is often missed; ignored; assumed to be absent, and judgement is made on “doing”, looking for what is easy to see. But we know that potential exists in everyone. Just waiting for the right catalysts. It needs to be nurtured; developed. For many of us, it is not an absence of potential that hampers us; it is an absence of confidence, of belief. Traditional organisational systems are built on seeking out and correcting mistakes, on critical feedback, sometimes with a dash of positive, of recognition, of “well done”. But still founded on finding and improving what is not “good enough”. We are building intersect-hp on the foundation that building confidence builds belief and unleashes potential and when we are confident, when we believe in ourselves and our ability, we will drive our performance, our development. It is built on the principle that we should deploy technology to enable our people; help their performance; support their growth. We want all our people to feel a sense of purpose in their role; to feel motivated by their work; to feel control over their performance and reward; to feel appreciated and respected.
