International Express, Inc. is a well established transportation and warehouse company with operations primarily on Oahu. From humble beginnings, we have grown into a well positioned organization within Hawaii's transportation and freight operations industry. Our company was purchased from its previous owners in July 1988, by our current President... and Chief Executive Officer, Masao Mitsui. After graduating from the University of Hawaii Manoa, with a BA Degree in Business majoring in Marketing and years of hands on experience in Hawaii's transportation industry, Mr. Mitsui recognized the need for an Oahu based transportation company in whom its customers could rely on to meet a wide variety of specialized needs. Mr. Mitsui believed there was not enough flexibility or customer appreciation in Hawaii's then transportation industry marketplace and, with that primary belief, invested all of his resources, time and energy, into making International Express, Inc. an efficient customer service focused organization. International Express' steady and managed growth during Hawaii's most difficult economic period on record is testimony to Mr. Mitsui's vision.
