Margaret Connelly established Interesse after over 20 years experience working in the public sector as an Education Behaviorist, Parent Support Adviser and Family Group Conference Coordinator. During this time she brought the first partnership with ChildLine and a Local Authority together to deliver Peer Support to schools and Colleges. In the volu... ntary world she was a ChildLine counsellor using those skills as part of an education critical incident team in North Yorkshire alongside Education Psychologists. Margaret is a Behaviour Specialist and trained at York St John University in Person Centred Counselling. She now specialises in suicide bereavement and trained in PABBS (Postvention Assisting those Bereaved By Suicide): Assisting those Bereaved By Suicide. This is an important, evidence-based training with the team from Suicide Bereavement UK. Created by a three year study conducted at the University of Manchester, funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) and first of its kind internationally.
