About Inter-face
Inter-face Training and Consultancy Ltd was formed in 2010 as a limited company. Prior to that, we are trading as e.r.i.c. (education. recreation. internet. consultancy) a company set by Eric Yates in 1999. Back then Eric was providing a range of services to the outdoor education service, as well as, ICT support for small businesses. His experience working with challenging behaviour started in the youth and community sector. Working as a street based youth worker, Eric supported young people with the many challenges they faced, homelessness, drug addiction, crime and youth unemployment (both in USA and the UK). Outdoor education became the main body of his work, empowering young people and helping them turn their lives around. He initiated a project in conjunction with RANK film foundation and the probation service, working with young offenders in the outdoors. A high percentage of which, do not return to crime.
