Integrated Water Services

IWS was formed in 2004 and provides a range of engineering based services dealing with all aspects of the water cycle. The business has grown organically and through strategic acquisition. IWS acquired Brocol Consultants in December 2006, who had an excellent reputation in providing water hygiene services over a 17 year period and Wells Water in Ap... ril 2008 who, for 10 years provided water hygiene risk assessment and service in the North West of England. In April 2010, IWS were delighted to announce the acquisition of ION Water and Environmental Management Ltd. This strategic acquisition will strengthen the IWS water hygiene service provision within Scotland and the North East of England. In April 2011, following an internal reorganisation within South Staffordshire Plc, IWS absorbed a sister company in the form of Tipton based Underground Pipeline Services Ltd, which has moved en-bloc to become its specialist pipelines division. This move creates an enhanced business providing a wider range of synergistic services to new and existing clients under a single, experienced senior management team, particularly strengthening the business' position in the Midlands area, where the company's pipelines division is based and in the South East of England, where they are also active. In July 2012 Greenacre Pumping Systems was acquired, this further strengthened the technical capability of the business within the South West. In October 2013 Woodside Environmental Services was acquired providing complementary services and enhanced geographic coverage in the North West. A significant level of organic growth has been achieved alongside these acquisitions with new offices being opened in Fleet, Crayford, Stanley, Heywood and Warrington.Read More
